We have lumber!

Yesterday afternoon the contractor brought by the first half of the wood. Here are some photos.

And so it begins!

Yesterday we officially chose a contractor. He will be coming later today (Tuesday, 12/30) to pick up the first portion of payment and go get materials to begin framing. But, before that begins, I wanted to get some "now" photos posted, so we can watch progress happen.

Here's a general sketch of what the final product will look like. Not to scale, obviously.

The wine cellar area.

A TV will hang here, opposite the bar.
